A new standard in laundry solutions

Electrolux Professional has launched the Line 6000 dryer, a ground-breaking commercial tumble dryer that has been designed to set a new standard for onsite laundry services in care homes

From cleaning residents’ garments safely to making sure bed linen and upholstery are hygienic, care homes need to invest in laundry equipment that guarantees operators complete peace of mind and ensures dignity for every resident.

With the ability to dry more laundry in less time, the Electrolux Professional Line 6000 dryers are a real game changer that will provide maximum productivity, outstanding drying speed and exceptional savings.

The dryer is designed with a high turnover laundry service, such as a care home, in mind and benefits from outstanding productivity levels due to a large capacity and unrivalled drying time. The dryer boasts the shortest drying time on the market and the larger model can easily process 16 kg of laundry in just 42 minutes, no matter what type of fabric is being dried.

The new commercial dryer features the latest extension to the Electrolux Professional Compass Pro control, which offers a large interactive digital display where the desired settings and programmes can be selected. The control also features ‘quick select’ buttons for fast access to frequently used programmes for normal / low temperature cycles and delicate materials.

Exceptional efficiency

Thanks to its built-in heat pump, the latest Electrolux dryer offers energy savings of up to 60 per cent compared to traditional tumble dryers. The use of a heat pump also eliminates the need for exhaust, ventilation and water cooling systems. This significantly reduces floor space requirements, which makes it a great choice for on-site laundry services as they may be limited on space.

As the heat pump dryer doesn’t need external extraction, it is much quieter than a normal tumble dryer, so residents living near the laundry service room will benefit from the reduced noise pollution. Moreover, the heat pump dryers allow businesses to save more than 60 per cent on their energy bills compared to traditional models, making them not only a sustainable solution for eco conscious operators, but also an effective way to cut overall spend within the business.

An effortless experience

With the large volume of laundry that operators have to process every day in the care sector, ergonomic equipment is key to ensuring that employees are comfortable throughout their shift. Thanks to its carefully considered design, the new dryer from Electrolux can be considered ergonomically efficient, earning the prestigious four star ErgoCert rating in compliance with international standards. This means the machines have been intensively user tested to make sure operators feel less tension and strain, and can work comfortably throughout the day.

The Line 6000 dryers have changed the rules in the market when it comes to productivity, efficiency, ergonomics and performance. Thanks to Electrolux Professional’s customer-centric product development, the new range brings a unique offering to the laundry market and is able to simplify and improve work life – ultimately ensuring high quality laundry solutions for on-site laundry services.
