St Mary’s Residential Care Home in the village of New Buckenham, Norwich has been sold through specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co.
The 29-bed home was bought by Siva & Shanthi Rajendra, whose family already owns other care homes. The funding for the purchase was arranged through Christie Finance.
Having been acquired by the previous owner in 2004, Christie & Co was instructed to market the property due to his commitments as a professor in London.
Robert Mellamphy, director in Christie & Co’s Ipswich office who handled the sale comments, “We are pleased to have sold this care home to new owners, who we are sure will further enhance the quality of care and accommodation on offer at St Mary’s.”
