Care England has appointed Jonathan Gardam as senior policy officer.
Ann Mackay MBE, director of policy at Care England, says: "Jonathan's experience at ADASS and various local authorities provides a great insight into the challenges and opportunities facing providers particularly when stakes and expectations are so high. His brief will focus on funding and costs; key issues for our members".
Jonathan joined Care England in May and has been concentrating on a funding matrix for local authorities across the country. The general election and forthcoming Green Paper on social care will be key parts of his work stream.
