DC Care has announced the recent sale of St Martins Care Home for the Elderly in Redditch, Worcestershire.
The home is located in a very popular residential area some 15 miles south of Birmingham and has been owned by Mr and Mrs Custins for 15 years. In that time it has been extended to increase from the original registration of nine, to the current registration of 15.
Mr and Mrs Custins instructed DC Care to market the home due to their desire to retire from the business. DC Care introduced Mr Patel to the business and a sale was subsequently agreed. Mr Patel is an existing operator within the North of England.
Alison Willougby of DC Care initially appraised the home and Lisa Rushworth negotiated the sale and liaised with all parties throughout the finance, legal and CQC process.
Mr and Mrs Custins comment: “DC Care handled the transaction very well, Lisa kept us informed about what was going on and it all went through smoothly. We would highly recommend DC Care.”
