Scarborough care provider Saint Cecilia’s enjoyed a triple slice of the Royal Wedding and FA Cup celebrations.
The company held parties at all three of its Scarborough centres – the care home on Stepney Road, the nursing home on Filey Road and the day care centre at Eastway, Eastfield.
At the homes, residents gathered to watch the Royal Wedding and enjoy a special celebration tea as well as the chance to watch the FA Cup Final.
At the day care centre visitors enjoyed their own Royal Wedding celebration, with ‘Harry, Meghan, Prince Charles and Camilla’ all calling in on Friday.
Managing Director Mike Padgham says: “We love a party at Saint Cecilia’s and all three centres have enjoyed wonderful celebrations to mark the Royal Wedding.
“Our staff really pulled out all the stops to create some amazing celebration cakes and other food and we are really grateful to them for all that they did to make these last few days very, very special for our residents and day care visitors.”
