Orchard Care Homes has completed its line-up of senior staff by hiring Cheryl Baird as director of quality and Neil Ward as group marketing manager.
Baird (pictured, on left) will oversee Orchard’s compliance, governance and quality and is also executive lead for nursing and dementia.
Orchard’s new director joins from Four Seasons Health Care where she was responsible for quality and improvement of care homes.
In total, Baird has worked in the health and social care sector for over 26 years.
“I am committed to developing new initiatives that will promote health and wellbeing for residents and the supporting frameworks for staff to have the knowledge and tools to deliver outstanding care,” she said.
Ward (pictured, on right) meanwhile will head up the marketing team to promote Orchard’s achievements to local authorities, residents and families as group marketing manager, a newly created role.
Ward joins Orchard from Anchor Hanover and has over 18 years’ marketing experience.
“It is a really exciting time to be joining Orchard. There are some fantastic projects in the pipeline that will make a real difference to our integrated marketing efforts and I look forward to driving those forward,” he said.
