DC Care has sold the Castlethorpe nursing home near Brigg in north-east Lincolnshire on behalf of its client to Nitin and Parum Sidhpura.
Castlethorpe Nursing Home is a former landowner’s residence with associated outbuildings, all residing within 2,843 acres of landscaped grounds.
The business has provided nursing and residential care since 1988 and has an effective capacity of 44 clients.
Seeking retirement, former owner Dr. Craven instructed DC Care to market Castlethorpe, which was subsequently bought by Nitin and Parum Sidhpura, existing operators who also own SRJ Care Home in Nottingham.
“Castlethorpe Nursing Home has a longstanding reputation in the local community and I am delighted we were able to assist Dr Craven in finding a suitable buyer to take it forward. With the outbuildings and extensive grounds, there is scope for significant development,” said DC Care regional director Alison Willoughby.
