In light of the enormous resources that the country - and care homes in particular - have had to dedicate to coping with the global pandemic and lockdown, some operators may not have noticed an important publication. In June, the National Audit Office (NAO) published a report on its investigation into progress made on remediating dangerous cladding on high-rise buildings.

The report makes slightly concerning reading and concludes that the replacement of dangerous cladding on high-rise buildings is too slow.
