Digital care technology outfit Person Centred Software has been approved by the NHSX as a supplier of Digital Social Care Records (DSCR).
NHSX has launched a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), which was commissioned by the Department of Health and Social Care, to support adult social care providers in England to buy from an assured list of digital social care record solutions.
The move makes Person Centred Software one of the first digital care planning providers to be approved by the NHS and listed on its DPS as a go-to provider for digital social care record solutions.
Person Centred Software has long campaigned for a more integrated health and social care system.
“We have supported over 2,000 care homes on their digital journey and are leading the way in joining up health and social care,” said head of product management Andrew Coles.
“From February, our nursing home customers were able to access GP records via the integration with GP Connect, which we are delighted to say is already saving lives. We are paving the way for other care providers to follow by being assured by NHSX’s DPS,” he added.
