Commercial laundry specialist Washco has launched the Love Laundry Awards to celebrate those working in care and nursing home laundries who have made a difference during the pandemic.
There are two categories of Love Laundry Awards up for grabs - an individual gong and team prize.
The winner of the individual category will receive a domestic Miele washing machine, which will be installed in their home while the team.
The team category winners will be able to enjoy a new Sonos speaker system for their laundry room.
Both award winners will be announced at the Washco stand during The Care Show at the NEC Birmingham in October.
“We know that care and nursing home laundries play an essential part in managing infection control and keeping residents safe and comfortable,” said Washco managing director Pete Hosking.
“We wanted the opportunity to recognise and hear the stories of those who have made a difference over the last year. The Love Laundry Awards are our small way of saying thank you, shining a light on an area that isn’t always front of mind,” he added.
