Signature Care Homes has won the Knight Frank 2022 Luxury Care Home Award for its Signature at Beckenham development in south-east London.
The home consists of 100 private apartments across three floors, including 24 purpose-built apartments for residents living with dementia.
The facilities includes café and formal private restaurant, a bespoke cinema, library, lounges, in-house hair salon, therapy room and spa bathroom. Outside, landscaped gardens include activity areas as well as a central bandstand.
Other winners in Knight Frank’s sixth edition of its UK Luxury Care Home Awards include Avery Healthcare, which won the 2022 Renovation and Refurbishment Award for its Avery Park assisted living facility in Kettering.
As announced previously, L&M Healthcare won the 2022 Care Home Design Award for Kitwood House in Rudheath, Cheshire.
Maria Mallaband Care Group chairman and chief executive Phil Burgan (pictured), meanwhile, was given a lifetime achievement award in recognition of his contribution to the sector during his 25-year career.
