Avery Healthcare Group has added 29 care homes to its portfolio, celebrating its new status as the fifth-largest provider in the UK by launching a new luxury brand.
The provider added the homes to its management portfolio on 1 June, significantly expanding its offering within London, the home counties, and the South-East of England. Together, the 29 homes in question form the ‘Avery Collection’, a new luxury brand that Avery promises will ‘envelop the very best in senior living care and lifestyle with exceptional levels of customer service’.
With a portfolio now numbering 99 homes, Avery Healthcare’s expansion follows last year’s acquisition by private equity investor Reuben Brothers of a majority stake in the provider.
Avery Healthcare CEO Lorna Rose said: “We are thrilled to welcome our new residents, their families, general managers, and their skilled teams. The superb standards of care and lifestyle will continue and grow under the new Avery Collection brand. We have received a fantastic welcome from the new homes, and we will work together to continue to grow and succeed as a team as we move into this exciting new chapter together.”
David Jr. Reuben added: “This is a milestone transaction which increases our presence in the UK care home sector to over 7,500 beds across the country. The transaction further cements our long-term commitment in the senior living care and lifestyle sector – with a clear focus on providing exceptional levels of care and customer service.”
