Centrum Care Homes has completed a full-scale digital transformation across its five care homes in the South West.
The provider has transitioned the homes from paper-based documentation to a fully systemised, digital care model, with all five services now operating using an advanced suite of digital platforms including Person Centred Software for care planning and Camascope for electronic medication management (eMAR).
The newly embedded digital infrastructure also includes e-Learning, rota and team management platforms, a dedicated HR system, and an upgraded telephony network – creating an integrated digital backbone that supports efficiency, oversight, and high-quality care delivery.
Project and systems coordinator Karen Hill Karen explained: “This transformation has been about far more than introducing new systems – it’s about empowering our teams, improving communication, and enhancing the lives of the people we care for. Digital innovation is helping us future proof our homes, while delivering real, everyday benefits for our team members and residents.”
Tracie Bowen, registered manager at The White House, one of the homes involved, said: “With the fantastic guidance from Karen during the rollout and her continued support, even team members who were less tech-minded and had no prior training are now eager to learn and feel confident in training to administer medications.”
