Construction completed on 33-bed Staffordshire home

Coronation Court in Cannock is a nursing home for adults living with complex needs such as dementia, neuro-disabilities, and physical disabilities.

Split into three units to provide smaller groups with communal spaces, Coronation Court marks the fourth development completed by Deeley Construction for Exemplar Health Care, with the partnership delivering care homes across the East and West Midlands.

Representatives from the two organisations, along with Councillor Tony Johnson, leader of Cannock Chase District Council, met at Coronation Court to mark its completion.

Cllr Tony Johnson said: “It’s fantastic to see this major investment in our district come to fruition. Coronation Court is not only transforming lives by providing specialist care in a state-of-the-art facility, but it’s also creating high-quality local jobs and breathing new life into a previously underused site.”

Paul Simmons, head of construction at Exemplar Health Care, said: “Coronation Court will not only provide much-needed complex care services for local people, but will also create a broad range of rewarding healthcare career opportunities for those passionate about making a difference.

Deeley Construction MD Martin Gallagher commented: “This is a development which will have a lasting impact on the community in Cannock and provide vital care for adults with complex needs for many years to come.”
