Adelaide House wins infection prevention and control award

Adelaide House Care Home in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey has been awarded Residential/Nursing Care Home of the Year at the IPS Impact Awards.

Presented by the Infection Prevention and Control Network, the IPS Impact Awards celebrate exceptional achievements in infection prevention and control, highlighting excellence in IPC practice, service delivery, and education, and honouring those who drive meaningful improvement and inspire progress across the field.

This nationally recognised accolade celebrates Adelaide House’s dedication to upholding the highest standards in cleanliness, safety, and care delivery.

Adelaide House home manager Slawomir Janik said: “This award is a testament to the hard work, compassion, and collaboration of our entire team. We are incredibly proud to be acknowledged in this way and remain committed to ensuring our residents receive the safest and highest quality care possible. The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the importance of having good Infection, Prevention and Control measures in place and to receive this award is an amazing acknowledgement to the dedication and hard work that the team carries out.”
