Hallmark Luxury Care Homes has unveiled a new uniform for its entire workforce, designed in direct consultation with its team members.
The bespoke uniform, specifically designed and developed for Hallmark by PCL Corporate Wear, is the result of more than a year of collaboration with over 1,300 team members.
The process – backed by a £550,000 uniform investment – brought together insight from teams across the business to create a uniform designed and manufactured to meet the realities of working in a care home environment. The uniform has been shaped by team members across the business to ensure it supports the physical, practical and emotional demands of long shifts and close-contact care.
Hallmark Luxury Care Homes CEO Nye Brown said: “Our teams are the fabric of our organisation. They bring skill, compassion and dedication to their roles every single day, and they deserve a uniform that works as hard as they do. This wasn’t about imposing a design, it was about listening, learning and creating something together that genuinely supports our people in their daily roles.”
Operations director Nick Banister-Dudley commented: “How our people feel at work matters, it influences mindset. By involving the team directly in the design process, we’ve created a uniform that supports comfort, confidence and pride reinforcing that our team are central to everything we do.”
