The sale of Waxham House care home in Ryde, Isle of Wight, has been completed by specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co.
Registered for up to 20 residents, Waxham House has been owned by husband-and-wife Sanjay and Sandhya Ramdany since 2005, and was brought to market to enable them to retire. Following a confidential sales process with Charles Phillips at Christie & Co, the home has been purchased by first-time buyers Minal Patel and Mitenkumar Patel of Genix Care Ltd.
Sanjay Ramdany, the former owner of Waxham House, said: “We have very much enjoyed owning and operating Waxham House, and it was a hard decision to sell, but we thought the time was right for us to hand the business over to another owner. It has been a pleasure looking after our residents and working alongside our staff to ensure the best care possible is provided. We wish the new owners all the best, and we look forward to seeing the home flourish.”
