Hybrid approach to training with LEXOCON by wissner bosserhoff

With the LEXOCON training platform from wissner bosserhoff, care staff can take advantage of a hybrid approach to product training.

The LEXOCON platform now includes an option for users to stay updated on how to use wissner bosserhoff’s specialist care beds.

Users can create an individual user profile with password-restricted access, allowing them to login and access a library of handy visual aids and tutorials.

Users can scroll through the library and select sessions of interest. In addition, if the user knows what they are looking for, there is a handy search bar function to help navigate to the most relevant tutorials available to them. There are sessions on topics such as bed extensions, handset control, SafeFree® side rails, and emergency lowering, to name just a few.

When a tutorial is selected, it will open a window displaying images of the session, a brief description, a full training video, and any useful user manual downloads.

These short video tutorials have been put together to deepen care teams’ knowledge, to help teams fully utilize all available functions with confidence, and to ensure each carer using the bed will have a full understanding of all the things the bed can do, and that the carer can make use of in order to fully support any individual they are caring for.

With quick and easy visual prompts, a carer can refresh themselves on a particular function of the bed at any time. There is also the option to bookmark tutorials they may want to refer back to in the future, or for a care manager to highlight as being of particular interest to their team.

This does not replace the in-depth, personalized, one-to-one training carried out during a physical visit from a wissner bosserhoff specialist bed representative – rather, it is an additional option that offers care teams the flexibility to learn independently at a time that is most convenient to them, and in between any planned sessions.

The hybrid training option also offers efficiencies for care operations when recruiting new members of the team. Now, basic training for such a critical piece of equipment used daily by every resident in the home can be given to the new recruit with ease.
