Leading care home meals provider apetito is introducing five brand new meals in its IDDSI Level 4 range.
The range, developed with nutritional content at its core, is designed to give residents with dysphagia more choice and variety when it comes to mealtimes.
The new Chicken in Rich Gravy, Lamb in Mint Gravy, and Chicken and Vegetable Casserole dishes have been specially developed following feedback from apetito’s care home customers. Supplied in the popular ‘puree petite’ size, each includes a tasty sauce, providing greater nutrient density and flavour profile.
apetito is also introducing two of the nation’s favourite comfort foods to its range - Sausages, Beans and Chips (with two browned components, creating a ‘fresh out of the oven’ effect) and Spaghetti Bolognaise, in which care home residents will see individual spaghetti pieces and taste authentic, comforting bolognaise sauce.
