Premium nursing bed manufacturer wissner bosserhoff, part of the Linet Group, has launched its annual portrait calendar.
With this calendar, wissner-bosserhoff has, for nearly 18 years now, been pursuing the goal of portraying and communicating the beauty of age by capturing real portraits that depict age in a sensitive and authentic way. Its longest running campaign, #HomageToLife, has become a labour of love which brings joy to everyone involved and is reflected in every single one of the striking portraits published to date.
As part of the process, wissner bosserhoff set out to share individual stories, seeking wisdom and experience from older people and also finding inspirational answers to some of life’s big questions, such as: what is the secret to a long life? And as individual as life is itself, so too are the responses to the great mystery of living well into older age.
Over the years, the calendar has featured many incredible people and heard many amazing stories, as the participants have revealed valuable memories and opened their hearts.
This year is no different, and as part of the continued #HomageToLife portrait calendar series, wissner bosserhoff collaborated with photographer Christoph Meinschäfer to capture an array of amazing portraits from enthusiastic seniors who feature in the 2023 edition. The participants of the 2023 calendar reside in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.
The calendar itself is generously sized and gets distributed in many countries around the world, offering a striking portrait for each month of the year where the senior featured for the month has their story shared on the reverse of the page.
In the UK, wissner bosserhoff wants to pass on copies to any care facility who would like them, in the hope that the calendar will bring joy and hang proudly in communal spaces in many care homes across the country.
