As part of the environment updates taking place at St Georges Court Care Home in Cambridge, the hair salon has now received a modern makeover.
The salon is a popular place where people are pampered with spa treatments, haircuts, makeovers and beauty treatments, so ensuring the space is warm, welcoming, and inviting for all is important.
Ahead of the renovation, the salon was stripped of all the equipment and decoration to create a blank canvas. Business support partner Carly then began to bring her vision for the room to life, starting with a fresh coat of paint. With support from the maintenance team, new equipment was then installed which included a salon-style sink, hood dryers, new storage solutions, and comfortable seating.
Since the salon opened, the people who live at Excelcare’s St George’s Court have enjoyed receiving their treatments in the new environment.
