Care UK has taken over the leadership and management of two care homes and a suite of 11 independent living apartments collectively known as The Hollies.
Care UK’s management contract, which came into effect on 1 September, includes the Hollies Nursing Care Home, Holly Oak Dementia Care Home, and The Woodlands Apartments, all located in Dursley, Gloucestershire.
With the addition of these homes, Care UK now operates 165 homes across England, Scotland, and Wales and has the highest care quality rating of all large providers in the country.
Care UK CEO Andrew Knight said: “We are excited about taking on these stunning properties and are looking forward to building on the high standards of care at both The Hollies and Holly Oak. The homes have longstanding and close-knit ties with the local community, and we will be looking to maintain and develop these to ensure residents and colleagues remain connected to Dursley and its surrounding villages.”
