An 11-bed dementia care home on the south coast of Wales has been acquired by Spring Meadows Care, taking the firm’s footprint in the Porthcawl area to three. Spring Meadows – owned by a physiotherapist Mani Neelamegan who has specialised in older peoples’ care – bought the home after it was put on the market for the first time in 36 years due to retirement.
Mr Neelamegan said he aims to “bring positive growth and stability” to the home built on the firm’s focus of “providing compassionate, person-centred care in a safe and homely environment.”
The CQC ‘Good’ rated-home sale was handled by Christie’s and was sold for an undisclosed sum.
