59-bed dementia specialist home bought by small local provider
A specialist dementia care home in Seaford, East Sussex has been sold to a local provider with five homes across the region.
The 59-bed home - registered as good by the CQC - was sold by the Joyce family after 40 years of 'consistently high occupancy levels, and robust profitability', according to a statement regarding the sale released by Christie & Co, who handled the sale.
Clifden House - which comprises a two-storey extended detached home with full en suite bedrooms and level, enclosed garden according to Christie & Co - was bought by Balwinder Khaira, the founder of Jubilee Care Ltd which runs five other homes across the region and is based in Bexhill-on-Sea.
