SPONSORED STORY: Sensio unveiled its refreshed brand identity and two major innovations at Care Show Birmingham last week, marking an exciting new chapter for the business.
While the new identity reflects Sensio’s people-first approach to care technology, its latest innovations will help care providers gain deeper insights into resident wellbeing and group-level performance, supporting more informed decisions and enhanced care.
Working in co-creation with its partners, Sensio has introduced two major innovations: Falls Playback and Claire AI. Both are helping care providers turn data into meaningful insights, supporting more efficient working practices and a clearer understanding of care needs across their homes.
Falls Playback provides an instant replay of fall incidents, helping care teams investigate events, understand the circumstances surrounding them and make more informed decisions about resident care. By providing greater clarity, the technology can help teams identify appropriate interventions, manage risk and potentially reduce avoidable hospital admissions.
Cath Fairhurst, Managing Director of Operations at Lovett Care, joined Sensio at Care Show last week to share her perspective on their latest innovations. As one of the first providers to trial Falls Playback, Cath shares first-hand how the feature is already making a difference across the Lovett Estate.
Falls Playback has already helped our care teams better understand residents’ needs. As one of the first providers to trial the feature, we identified a case where footage revealed that a resident was lowering herself to the floor due to nighttime restlessness, rather than falling. This insight supported her GP in identifying the right intervention, contributing to improvement in her wellbeing. It’s a powerful example of how technology can help us better understand, respect and support our elders.
Claire AI offers a new way for care organisations to interact with their data. This secure conversational assistant allows users to ask questions in natural language, making it easier to identify trends, compare performance across homes and uncover insights that support evidence-based decisions and continuous improvement.
Together, these innovations reflect Sensio’s strong belief that it has a duty to make care data more accessible - helping providers move beyond simply collecting information, to using it to drive meaningful improvements in resident care and operational performance.
Sensio’s refreshed brand identity brings this vision to life, reinforcing their belief that people are at the centre. Head of Sales and Marketing, Annthea Corry adds:
We’re leading the way in care technology, but people will always come first. This rebrand puts people back at the heart of everything we do – from residents and care teams to the wider care
community. Our new identity brings to life the warmth, connection and human values that define Sensio, reflecting our belief that technology should always serve people first.
