Furze Field Manor holds grand opening

Furze Field Manor care home in West Sussex has held its grand opening.

Attendees enjoyed a tour of the home, which is located in the village of Sayers Common. Present at the opening was veteran broadcaster Fred Dinenage, who cut the ribbon to declare Furze Field Manor open.

Oyster Care Homes’ CEO Tim Buckley, chief operating officer Em Dean, and general manager Beata Wojcik organised the special event at the 66-bed home, which boasts a cinema, hair salon, bistro, and library, and is situated in a rural location close to Hickstead racecourse.

Fred Dinenage said: “It’s a shame they don’t have a spare room for me, I’d love to live there.”
